The WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature) is the world’s largest nature conservation organisation. Born in 1961 in Switzerland, it has been present in Italy since 1966 and in Parma since 1973. WWF brings in its baggage more than 1300 projects developed around the world. In Italy it protects the territory and biodiversity in over 100 oases, 2 of which in the province of Parma, and promotes the culture of sustainability in all its forms. The mission of the WWF is to stop the degradation of the planet and build a world in which man can live in harmony with nature.
