The itinerary “Between the hills and the mountain” is proposed as an immersive route through the woods of the municipality of Neviano degli Arduini. The first stage begins at the Provincial Park of Monte Fuso, a wildlife oasis that preserves over 100 ungulates as well as many native tree species including oak, chestnut, cherry, walnut and wild apple.

The route continues to the Pieve di Scurano, which will welcome you with its gabled facade and the bell tower detached from the building, typically Romanesque.

The itinerary ends in the Pieve di Sasso, dear to the Countess Matilde di Canossa, who used to come here to follow the horse mass.

ADVICES

Appropriate adaptation to the visit of sacred sites is recommended. Comfortable shoes and binoculars for better observation without disturbing the different animal species, housed in the Park of Monte Fuso.
