The Pieve di Graiana overlooks the Parma valley from a high ground, among the woods that climb towards Mount Sillara.

First mention of the church of San Nicolò in a parchment of 1230.

The facade, made of squared stone blocks, ends with a broken mistylinear profile: a mullioned window opens above the entrance door. On the left of the façade is the imposing bell tower, with a cusp roof and four spires.

In 1770 the church was entirely rebuilt with the exception of the apse and the corner of the church on the left where the small Romanesque crowning arches in polished stone are still visible today.

The roof of the hall is in wood and brick, with a truss structure, while the side chapels are vaulted. The apse has a semi-dome whose wall texture seems different from that of the facing, made with larger ashlars.

The structure has a Latin cross plan with a single nave, two side chapels and a flat square apse, slightly higher than the hall.

The church is dedicated to San Nicolò.
