The last stretch of the Via Francigena, before arriving in the Apennines, the village still has the characteristics of medieval atmospheres, with stone houses, palaces from the 12th-17th centuries and ruins of a castle. The museum, housed in an ancient side chapel, preserves sacred furnishings and vestments, including the Pivial of San Moderanno of the twelfth century.
